In short: Darkspyre IRC does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. Everything the app stores stays on your Mac.
Nothing. Darkspyre Studios does not receive any personal information from the Darkspyre IRC app. We operate no servers that the app reports to, and we do not use analytics, crash-reporting, tracking, or advertising services.
To function, the app stores the following locally on your Mac only:
This information never leaves your device by our doing. You can remove it at any time by deleting the relevant servers, logs, or files, or by removing the app.
IRC is a communication protocol. When you connect to an IRC network, the messages, nickname, and other information you send are transmitted directly to the third-party IRC servers you choose to connect to — not to Darkspyre Studios. How those networks handle your data is governed by their policies, not ours. Please review the privacy and usage policies of any IRC network you use.
Darkspyre IRC is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. IRC networks are public communication systems whose content is controlled by their operators and users, not by Darkspyre Studios.
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
